The terms that apply to this website and to orders placed with us.
These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the Pinpoint Golf website. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing below affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
1. About us
Pinpoint Golf supplies premium golf ball markers, accessories and collectible golf products.
2. Products
We make every effort to display our products accurately. However, colours, finishes and appearance may vary slightly due to photography, screen settings and manufacturing processes.
Many Pinpoint Golf products use cast metal, enamel, plating, polishing and other finishing techniques. Small variations in colour, texture, weight, enamel and metal finish are a natural part of production and are not considered faults where they do not materially affect the product.
3. Orders & payment
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase from us. Your order is accepted when we confirm it has been processed or dispatched.
All orders are subject to availability and successful payment.
We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order due to stock errors, obvious pricing errors, suspected fraud, payment issues or breaches of stated purchasing limits. Any payment already taken for a cancelled order will be refunded.
4. Prices
Prices are shown on our website in the stated currency. Delivery charges and any other applicable costs will be shown before checkout.
We may change prices at any time, but this will not normally affect orders already accepted.
5. Limited editions
Some Pinpoint Golf products are produced as limited-edition or collectible releases.
Where an edition size is stated, a small number of additional pieces may be retained for quality control, replacements, photography, samples, promotional purposes or our archive.
Adding an item to your basket does not reserve it. Limited releases may sell out during checkout.
6. Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe stated on our website.
Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. Delays caused by couriers, customs or circumstances outside our reasonable control may occasionally occur.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.
Please contact us promptly if an order arrives damaged or appears to have been lost in transit.
7. International orders
International customers may be responsible for local customs charges, import duties and taxes unless these have already been collected at checkout.
Pinpoint Golf is not responsible for customs delays or charges imposed by the destination country.
8. Cancellations & returns
UK consumers purchasing online generally have the right to cancel eligible purchases within 14 days of receiving their order, subject to legal exceptions.
After notifying us of a cancellation, eligible products should normally be returned within a further 14 days.
Unless the product is faulty, incorrect or damaged, customers may be responsible for return postage.
Products should be returned in appropriate condition. We may make a deduction where legally permitted if excessive handling has reduced the value of the product.
9. Custom products
Products made to your specifications or clearly personalised may not qualify for the standard change-of-mind cancellation right.
This does not affect your rights where a personalised product is faulty, damaged or not as described.
10. Faulty or damaged products
If your product arrives faulty, damaged, incorrect or materially different from its description, please contact us with your order details and photographs where appropriate.
We will provide the appropriate remedy in accordance with UK consumer law.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
11. Refunds
Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method.
Where you exercise a statutory cancellation right, refunds will be processed within the legally required timeframe.
12. Product care & wear
Golf markers and accessories are designed to be handled and used.
Scratches, scuffs, changes to polished surfaces and gradual wear to metal or plated finishes can occur naturally through use and are not necessarily manufacturing defects.
13. Pre-orders
Estimated production and dispatch dates for pre-order products are estimates unless specifically guaranteed.
Manufacturing delays may occasionally occur. If a significant delay affects your order, we will provide further information where reasonably possible.
14. Intellectual property
Pinpoint Golf’s original branding, logos, artwork, photography, product designs and website content remain the intellectual property of their respective owner and may not be copied, reproduced or commercially exploited without permission.
Any third-party names, characters, logos or intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.
Unless expressly stated, references to third-party brands, entertainment properties, sports organisations or other intellectual property do not imply sponsorship, endorsement or official affiliation.
15. Website use
You must not misuse our website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious software, commit fraud or use automated systems to unfairly circumvent purchasing limits.
We may restrict or cancel orders where we reasonably believe the website or purchasing process is being abused.
16. Promotions & giveaways
Discount codes and promotions may be subject to additional conditions and expiry dates.
Giveaways may also have specific entry requirements and closing dates. Fraudulent, automated or manipulated entries may be disqualified.
Prizes cannot normally be exchanged for cash unless otherwise stated.
17. Privacy
Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data-protection law.
Further information about cookies and tracking technologies is provided through our Cookie Policy or cookie consent system where applicable.
18. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
We are responsible for foreseeable losses resulting from our breach of these Terms, subject to applicable law.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms occasionally to reflect changes to our products, website, business or legal obligations.
The Terms applying to an order will normally be those in force when the order was placed.
20. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland.
Consumers elsewhere in the UK continue to benefit from any mandatory consumer protections applicable to them.
